Rich Results & Structured Data Skill Pack for Claude Code

A Claude Code skill pack that checks your JSON-LD the way Google's rich-result features read it — merchant listing and product snippet separately, plus variants, breadcrumbs, articles, events and video — compares the markup with the visible page, and sorts Search Console warnings into "fix now" and "accept on purpose". Plus a pass/fail guard for CI. Zero dependencies, €49 once.

v1.0.0 — live. Tested on real live sites (this one, allbirds.com, eventbrite.com, css-tricks.com, web.dev) plus a labelled broken/fixed fixture set. On this site it reproduced the week's Search Console warnings line for line and found a hidden-FAQ bug GSC hadn't flagged — fixed the same day. The worked outputs ship in the download (esempio/).

The problem this solves

Search Console sends the email: "Missing field returnMethod", "Invalid object type for field brand", "Missing field aggregateRating", twelve pages affected. But "valid schema.org" isn't the question — Google judges each feature separately, and the same Product can qualify for a product snippet while failing as a merchant listing. Some warnings are real bugs; others would need false data to clear, like a return method for a download nobody ships back, or star ratings you don't have — fill those in and you've traded a yellow warning for a manual-action risk. Markup drifts from the page after price changes and copy edits. And the rules move: FAQ rich results stopped appearing on 7 May 2026, and online-only events aren't supported.

What's inside

SkillWhat it does
rich-results-auditChecks JSON-LD per Google feature: merchant listing vs product snippet, product variants (ProductGroup), breadcrumb, article, organization, software app, review snippet, event, video, plus FAQ/HowTo status. Validates enum values, @id references, expired priceValidUntil and self-serving reviews; compares product name, price, FAQ questions and ratings with the visible page; optionally fetches every image/logo URL. Then triages your Search Console warnings.
structured-data-guardThe same checks as a binary pass/fail gate: --assert exits non-zero on a regression. Run it on your build folder before every deploy.

Plus one dependency-free helper script, rich-results-check.mjs (Node 18+), an install guide, and worked examples against real live sites.

What it is not

Why €49

If your time is worth €50 an hour, the pack pays for itself the first time it saves you an hour of reading Google's structured-data docs to decide whether a warning is real — or the first time it stops a deploy that would have broken merchant listings across a product catalogue. It also keeps you away from the one expensive mistake: filling a warning with fake data and earning a manual action.

FAQ

Isn't Google's Rich Results Test free?
It is, and you should keep using it. It checks one URL at a time and doesn't tell you which warnings are safe to accept or whether the markup matches the page. This runs over a whole sitemap or build folder from inside Claude Code, checks parity, triages Search Console warnings, and fails a CI job on a regression.
Will it add star ratings to my pages?
No. Ratings belong in markup only when real, visible reviews exist. The pack refuses to synthesise them, and says so.
Does it cover every schema type?
It covers merchant listings, product snippets, product variants, breadcrumbs, articles, organization, software apps, review snippets, events and video, plus FAQ/HowTo status. Other types are reported as not checked, so you know to test them elsewhere.
What about JavaScript-rendered schema?
The checker reads JSON-LD in the raw HTML. If a page looks client-rendered it tells you, and the audit skill tells Claude to verify in a rendered view.
Will you keep it updated?
Updates for 12 months from purchase, through your Gumroad library and logged in a changelog — including when Google changes its requirements. After that the version you have keeps working; further updates are not included.

AI disclosure

The skills are written instructions for an AI coding assistant and were authored with AI assistance. The helper script is conventional code and reports only what it finds in your markup — no invented metrics, ratings, or stats anywhere in the product or on this page.
